This paper aims to understand the concept of mathematical infinity, encompassing it’s
definition, limitations, applications, and interpretations, in concepts across multiple
disciplines, through the analysis of various published scientific journals. Through this
analysis, it was determined that the concept of infinity has been applied in various
contexts in a variety of fields, including economics, computer science, cosmology, and
physics, among others. Through this research, it was determined that the concept of
infinity is more often included in theoretical studies, as a placeholder in various proofs
and formulas, demonstrated through its application in fields like economics or
theoretical physics, as opposed to practical application in fields such as computer
science, which are limited in nature.
