Gallbladder neoplasms are the most common and highly aggressive biliary tract malignancies especially the squamous cell subtype. Most of the patients with Gallbladder neoplasm present with advanced disease even in an urban setting and thereby, complete resection is rarely possible and viewed nihilistically. Early stages of presentation are usually asymptomatic or non-specific symptoms such as abdominal pain, anorexia, nausea, and vomiting that likely point towards benign pathologies such as cholelithiasis or cholecystitis. Long-term survival in Gallbladder Carcinoma is dependent on achieving R0 resection. This reports one such rare instance where Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Gallbladder is tackled early on successfully in a rural setup.
