Abstract
There is a growing attention by government and people in regarding to the role played by millets in health benefits in chronic diseases. Millet grains are abundant in nutrient and health beneficial phenolic compounds, making it sustainable as food. Millets have nutraceutical properties in the form of antioxidant which prevent deterioration of human health such as lowering blood pressure, risk of heart disease, prevention of cancer and cardiovascular disease, diabetes, etc
