Abstract
This research paper explores the application of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to investigate the compressive strength, fatigue life, safety factor, and natural frequencies of square blocks fabricated using different 3D printing materials. The study focuses on materials such as Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polyethylene Terephthalate glycol-modified (PETG), and Polylactic Acid (PLA). The objectives include calculating alternating stress, creating layer-wise 3D CAD models, performing compressive and fatigue tests, conducting modal analysis, and comparing the results. Structural and fatigue analysis provides insights into deformation, equivalent stress, design life, safety factor, and fatigue sensitivity. The research aims to validate the FEA approach and shed light on the mechanical properties of 3D printed materials.
