Abstract

Advertising is considered an essential tool for businesses to influence the purchasing decisions of consumers. The study reviews the literature on the topic and presents various theories and models that explain how advertising affects customer behaviour. The study uses a quantitative research method and collects data through a survey of 200 respondents. The study finds that advertising has a significant influence on customer behaviour, particularly in creating brand awareness, shaping attitudes and perceptions, and triggering the purchasing decision. The study also finds that various factors, such as demographic variables and product attributes, moderate the impact of advertising on customer behaviour.
