Tablets are widely used for administering medications to children and adults with a weaker nervous system and muscular system, such as Parkinson's disorder or hand tremors. These tablets dissolve quickly in saliva without water, providing an effective alternative for both children and adults. IDTs, which contain super disintegrants, have advantages such as easy manufacturing, accurate dose, good chemical and physical stability, and increased bioavailability. Technologies like spray drying, cotton candy process, sublimation, melt granulation, direct compression freezes drying/lyophilization, phase transition process, and mass extrusion have been developed for manufacturing IDTs.
