| Abstract: | This study is an attempt to explore the role Higher Education Institutions must play in the ever-changing world and associated organisational development interventions necessary for shaping changes in organization forms. It highlights the process interventions as measures of Quality Improvement in different industries and explores the scope of Higher Education along similar lines. The relationship between process improvement and organisational development has been studied upon with focus on quality improvement. This study also delves upon how Quality improvement in higher education entails a systematic and continuous effort to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of educational processes by identifying areas for improvement, implementing targeted enhancements, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Higher Education imperatives and related Managerial Perspectives have been explored by the authors based on process interventions in diverse sectors. |
