The narrative acts as a mirror, reflecting how inadvertent actions can inflict wounds on those in our periphery, themes that may otherwise elude our awareness. Through its characters, the novel adeptly unveils the intricacies of these underlying social dynamics. This review aspires to broaden our understanding, urging readers to delve into the subtleties of racial stigma that persistently shadows the experiences of the Black community.
