Dual-band micro strip patch antennas have emerged as a hot issue, with the goal of
addressing the fundamental constraints of a traditional antenna, such as antenna
size and restricted bandwidth. It is made up of a radiating patch on one side of the
dielectric substrate and a ground plane on the other. When compared to traditional
antennas, antennas provide appealing properties like as gain, polarization , and
system capacity. In this project, a linear polarised micro strip antenna is
constructed using the microstrip feed technique in the S(2.5-4.5GHz) and C(3.6-
5.3GHz) operating bands (1.01-3.6GHZ).
The influence of all essential geometric antenna characteristics has been
thoroughly considered and optimised using an HFSS simulator. The suggested
antenna is characterised by dual band functioning in conjunction with linear
polarisation.
