Abstract
The rapid development of the Internet and increasing reliance on online services are increasing the threat of phishing attacks, posing serious financial and privacy violations to individuals and organizations. This research paper presents a comprehensive study of the application of Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) for phishing website detection, using the data array to improve accuracy and updating in online fraud detection. The method proposed involves the development of a new phishing detection system that uses the power of RNNs to analyze the physical patterns present in the content and structure of websites. The system architecture combines advanced techniques to extract relevant attributes from URLs, HTML content, and metadata. These features feed into the RNN model, which is designed to capture complex patterns and relationships in data by focusing on the best behavior of distinguishing phishing from legitimate sources. To evaluate the effectiveness of the RNN-based phishing system, a large dataset including real and phishing websites is used for training, validation and testing purposes. Comparative experiments were conducted using various machine learning algorithms, including normal distributions and neural networks, to demonstrate the superiority of RNN models in processing continuous data of phishing attacks.
