With the development of digital word, all the information transferred among the various persons were in the form of digitized format. Among numerous formats of data, image is considered to be most prominent and easy way of expressing the information in the visual mode. Moreover, representing the content in image format tends to decrease the size of the space occupied by the traditional way like textual format. These aforementioned highlighted points for image format enhance its popularity as well as the fraudulent activity. The way of detecting the manipulation of the image content can be detected by image forensics approaches. Recently researchers seek attention towards image forensics based on deep learning techniques. In this work, the existing methodology which relies on deep learning-based image forensics techniques has been analyzed in a detailed manner. This article discusses about the detection approaches used for image forensics approaches. At the end of the work, the demerits and merits of each existing approaches has been explored.
