Current technologies have become a source of omnipresent electromagnetic pollution from generated electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and resulting electromagnetic radiation (EMR). This pollution harms the environment and different organisms especially Birds and Humans. New research shows the impact of technology, especially smart phones and computers of corporate sectors on carbon emission. This increases the temperature which affects reproductive events of birds and humans such as reduction in plasma testosterone and progesterone, reduction of egg production etc. Electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) cause chromosomal rearrangement in sperm, affecting folliculogenesis in birds. It increases amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) reducing sperm motility and viability, causes DNA damage and increases the chance of miscarriage in humans. Increasing screen time affects secretion of Melatonin which in turn affects gonadal hormones. All these lead to infertility in birds and humans. Low frequency EMFs are classified as potentially carcinogenic.Technology is making our daily lives easier but it has numerous adverse effects on environment, and our reproductive health. Studies have revealed that infertility and cancer will change from diseases to syndromes in future generation due to electromagnetic pollution.
