Abstract
**Abstract** The Gomti River in Lucknow, India, plays a vital role in supporting ecosystems and human communities. This study presents a comprehensive physicochemical analysis of Gomti River water, comparing untreated water with water treated by Trichoderma sp. from CSIR NBRI. Key parameters including temperature, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), salinity, resistivity, turbidity, phosphate, calcium, and enzyme activity were examined. The results revealed significant changes post-treatment, with shifts in pH, EC, TDS, ORP, salinity, turbidity, phosphate, calcium, and cellulase enzyme activity. The study underscores the transformative potential of Trichoderma sp. treatment on water quality and presents insights into the complex interactions between treatment agents and aquatic environments. As water quality concerns rise, interdisciplinary research becomes essential for informed environmental management decisions and sustainable resource stewardship.
