Abstract: Abstract Injection with needle is one of the most common procedures for diagnosis and treatment of ailments through parenteral drug delivery. It has lesser patient compliance as can be painful to pediatric patients and people with low pain threshold. Reducing the size of the needles may decrease the pain but have not much effect on patient with Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).Trypnophobia is the fear of needles. About 25% of adults have fear of needles and a significant amount of people even skip the vaccination. Contaminated syringes and needle stick reused in health care center’s cause serious health issues and even transmission of blood borne infections like HIVs, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. The infliction of any unnecessary pain is close to zero. Therefore, needle less injection is a crucial replacement for needle injection to avoid certain complications. The potential of the needle free system has a greater efficiency. The main objective of the drug administration by needle free injection technology is that they can be reused with disposable cartridges and the pain factor will be considerably low. The ability to inject solid dosage forms will likely represent the most significant developments in needle free injection technologies.
