Abstract: Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles are also used as an essential nutrient for plant growth and development and also improves the photosynthetic pigments in plants such as chlorophyll (a and b), carotenoids and anthocyanins contents, due to its high -risk assessment and for better results different particle sizes were taken (20-30nm, 40-50nm, 60-80nm, 80- 100nm) with different concentrations (5mg/l, 10mg/l, 15mg/l). In order to evaluate the Effect of particle size and concentration of Titanium dioxide Nanoparticle on growth, yield and yield attributing traits of maize crop a seasonal trail was conducted in both field and lab conditions and reading were taken up-to date and were statistically analysed by RBD and CRBD respectively, seed priming with Titanium nanoparticles with particle size 20-30nm with concentration of 5mg/l resulted in significant difference when compared with other treatment combinations, early tasseling, silking and maturity was reported and higher plant height, root – shoot length, vigour index I, II, germination percentage and bio chemicals like protein content, carbohydrate content, proline content and Dehydrogenase activity were also reported higher with the results obtained from O.D Values indicates seeds priming with titanium dioxide significantly enhances the growth parameters of maize.
