In the current era of technological advancement, the global landscape is witnessing a transition towards Industry 4.0, characterized by the digitization and automation of systems, along with the integration of cyber-physical technologies. This paradigm shift is not limited to manufacturing alone but extends to various sectors, including healthcare. Our research to examine the impact of Industry 4.0 on the healthcare industry, with a specific focus on the technical and innovative approaches that have facilitated its transformation. The utilization of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been embraced in the context of Healthcare 4.0. The review explores the functionality and implementation of these technologies, highlighting their current cutting-edge solutions and their ability to address existing challenges within the healthcare sector. Furthermore, the review examines the influence of entrepreneurial start-ups in reshaping the healthcare landscape within the framework of Industry 4.0. By investigating these aspects, the review provides insights into the advancements and opportunities brought forth by Industry 4.0 in healthcare. It sheds light on potential benefits and transformative capabilities of the technologies employed in Healthcare 4.0, ultimately contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the paradigm shift occurring in healthcare industry under the influence of Industry 4.0.
