Abstract
The paper discusses the differences between the oldest religion in the world, Hinduism and the right wing Hindu nationalist movement in India, Hindutva. It further explores the various influences as displayed by several political leaders and parties in the nation and formulates opinions on the basis of facts as provided segregating the distorted image of the Indian Political Spectrum into a much more systematically understandable one.
