Following the pace of new media development, libraries of various universities have also created their own official WeChat official account, and the library's WeChat public platform has since become an important media for information dissemination in universities, increasing the ways of information dissemination. However, in the process of the library's exploration and construction of the WeChat public platform, there are still many areas that need to be improved and innovated, including the problems in the operation of the WeChat platform of major university libraries, and many deficiencies in the management process, which will affect the quality of service provided by university libraries to users.This paper first analyzes the operation status of the typical university library's WeChat official account to specifically understand the operation status of the WeChat official account, and analyzes the problems in the operation of various library official account. Then through the SOWT analysis method, Structured analysis is carried out on the established conditions of the university library's WeChat official account, and then effective suggestions are discussed on how to enhance the value of university libraries, enhance the operation ability, and achieve sustainable development, providing an effective reference model for the long-term development of other university library's WeChat public platform.
