Abstract
This paper is an attempt to throw attention onto the extent to which an outsider from overseas along with a local housewife as his emarging better half bore the brunt of the reacially motivated prejudice of the local people within the domain of Manipuri Society as an ordeal of a remarkable romance. Thus a saga of human love which transcends everything else is well delinated in the novel Bor Saheb Ongbi Sanatombi (Sanatombi, the better half of Bor Saheb, 1976) of M.K. Bimodini as a nice recreation of a historic love which ultimately takes Precedence over all other elements of artistic device.
