The purpose of the current study is to determine whether there is a relationship between childhood trauma and a person's love languages (words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch) irrespective of their demographics. The objective is to understand and determine if the presence of childhood traumas is an important determining factor in the development of love languages. A sample of 110 participants (18 – 27 age) was collected to find the correlation between childhood trauma and love languages. The conclusion indicates that there is no strong correlation observed between childhood trauma and love languages except for quality time (r= -0.263**; p= 0.006) and physical touch (r= 0.219*; p= 0.021) which is reported as weakly correlated according to this study.
