Community-based organizations (CBOs) are non-profit groups like ashramas that work at a local level to improve life for residents through a wide array of activities and focus is to build equality across society in all streams such as health care, environment, quality of education, social, spiritual health care and juvenile justice (care and protection of children), apart from these activates, many local organizations also run old age homes and orphanage together because elderly people and orphans children are becoming more separated in our culture. There are very few chances for both age groups to interact.
