Abstract
This research paper contains the details of a mobile application, it will let the people know what is happening around them. It is designed with a vision to connect the people in the community. Cab Pool is about sharing a cab among people around a user who want to pursue the same destination and are interested in sharing the fare. This application will help people to travel their destination with less fare while sharing it with strangers or known ones. A user can fill up the details for where he is travelling and wants to share his cab and need to fill the number of seats available, people who want to pursue the same destination can respond to the user who asked for cab pool. The details of user’s past travelling will also be shown in the application and with whom he has travelled in past destination. This will help a user know his travelling companion start and in short distance travelling the fare will be shared after the destination has reached. Also, each user can view their travelling history in their profile. User details and history are stored in the database.
