This project report presents the potential of
using Azolla, an aquatic fern, as a natural means to reduce
carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Azolla due to its high CO2
absorption rates is a very promising candidate for mitigating
climate change. Azolla has a significant capacity for
absorbing CO2, with its highest absorption rate observed
under high light intensity and low temperature.
