Abstract: The Purpose Of The This For The Devlopment And Validation Of New Stability Indicating Method For Estimation Of Nicotiamide And Salicylic Acid From Topical Gel Formulation.Various Trial Perform With Aqueous Phase And Organic Phase To Optimize Mobile Phase .And Sharp Peak Obtained In Column Hypersil Ods C18 (250*4.6 Mm, 5µm) Mobile Phase (Methanol: Water 50:50 V/V Ph 3 Adjusted With 10% OPA) Detection Limit 232 Nm Flow Rate 1ml/Min Retention Time For Salicylic Acid For 2.286 Min And For Nicotiamide For 5.859 Min Respectively. Forced Degradation Study Was Performed By Applying Stress Conditions Like Acid Hydrolysis, Alkali Hydrolysis, Oxidation, Thermal Degradation. %Degradation Was Calculated With Respect To Drugs And Specificity.Lc Method Was Validated By Ich Q2 (R1) Guideline. The Linearity Was Observed In The Concentration Range Of 6-30 Μg/Ml For Nicotinamide And 2-10 Μg/Ml For Salicylic Acid. The Correlation Coefficient Was Found To Be 0.996 And 0.9994 For Nicotinamide And Salicylic Acid Respectively. Degradation In All Conditions Was Found To Be 10 -15%The Method Specifically Estimates Both The Drugs In The Presence Of All The Degradant Generated During Forced Degradation Study. The Developed Method Was Specific And Precise And Can Be Used For Simultaneous Estimation Of Nicotinamide And Salicylic Acid.On This Topic Have Already Have One Stability Study But Have Disadavantages So I Developed New Method For Cover This Disadvantages And Better Result.
Keywords: Nicotinamide, Salicylic acid, RP-HPLC method, forced degradation
