Abstract
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation can help Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency move toward national recognition, consistent operations, and a competitive advantage. The Office of Senior Geologist, GSDA, Osmanabad, Laboratory Quality Manual ( here after referred to as QM) has been prepared for the District Water Testing Laboratory (DWTL, Osmanabad) to meet the requirements for laboratory accreditation of the International Organization for Standardization/International Electro-technical Commission (ISO/IEC 17025) and National Accreditation body for Testing an Calibration Laboratories (NABL). It has been formatted using clause numbers from ISO/IEC 17025 to provide ease in review. DWTL, Osmanabad offers testing of water samples for chemical and bacteriological parameters.
