Abstract:- The increasing emphasis on occupational safety and the need for advanced monitoring systems have led to the development of innovative solutions such as IoT-based smart helmets for industrial workers. This abstract provides an overview of the key features and benefits of such a helmet, designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of workers in industrial settings. The IoT-based smart helmet integrates a range of sensors, wireless connectivity, and data analytics capabilities to create a comprehensive monitoring and alert system. The helmet is equipped with sensors to detect vital parameters such as temperature, humidity, gas levels, and impact force. These sensors continuously collect data, which is then transmitted wirelessly to a central control unit or a cloud-based platform. The collected data is processed and analyzed in real-time using advanced analytics algorithms. This enables the system to identify potential safety hazards, such as high temperature or toxic gas exposure, and promptly alert both the worker and the control center. Immediate notifications can be sent via visual indicators, auditory alarms, or even haptic feedback, ensuring that workers are aware of any potential risks. Moreover, the smart helmet incorporates location tracking capabilities using GPS or indoor positioning systems.
