Abstract
An experiment was carried out during winter season of 2018-19 in Department of Floriculture, College of Horticulture, Mojerla. Sri konda laxman telangana state Horticultural University, Hyderabad. The experiment was conducted in Factorial Completely randomized design with seven Growth regulators comprising G1– Control (distilled water spray), G2 - GA3 50ppm, G3 – GA3 100ppm, G4 – GA3 200ppm, G5 – BA 50ppm, G6 – BA 100ppm and G7 – GA3 100ppm+BA 100ppm with Frequency of applications N1-Spraying at monthly interval and N2-Spraying at bi-monthly intervals were replicated thrice to evaluate the effect of these plant growing media on vegetative and flowering parameters in Dendrobium cv. Singapore white. The observed vegetative traits like plant height (cm), stem girth (mm), number of leaves per plant, leaf area (cm2), Number of shoots and Intermodal length (cm) and different flowering traits like early flower bud initiation, opening of first flower and Days to flower, Number of spikes per plant, Number of flowers per spike, Spike length (cm), Rachis length (cm) and Flower diameter (cm) plant were found to be maximum from the treatment G7- GA3 100ppm+BA 100ppm as compared to other treatments.
