This study investigates the impact of technological advancement and digital device addiction on the sleep efficacy of the youth population, specifically among adolescents in India. The study aims to address the elephant in the room that is the widespread use of digital devices among adolescents and its negative effects on late-night sleep quality. As a member of the youth population and a doctor, the researcher has observed the increasing prevalence of digital device addiction among students, which is often used as a means to escape from stress. The study is motivated by the lack of documented research on the impact of digital devices on sleep quality among adolescents in India. The findings of this study may help inform interventions to mitigate the negative effects of digital device use on sleep quality among adolescents.
