Abstract

A flywheel is a mechanical device that stores rotational energy using the conservation of angular momentum. It is commonly used to provide continuous power output in systems where the energy source is not continuous. The purpose of this paper is to compare several flywheels designed for use in a hammering machine in various configurations.
