Abstract
This study is about virtual physiotherapy that how it is better than traditional physiotherapy and what are the limitations challenges faced by the physiotherapist in virtual physiotherapy and what are the conditions in which virtual physiotherapy is done .The objective of the study is to find out reasons why patient don’t go for virtual physiotherapy and the challenges faced by several peoples and to understand the psychology of patient through empathy map. The area of the study is Daytoday Health. The methodology used to conduct the study is by creating user journey for the patients who are undergoing for TKR and for that patient empathy map and physiotherapist empathy map in MIRO software has been created which will help to understand the psychology and things required to both patient as well as physiotherapist. The study was conducted by taking interview of physiotherapist and care coach who are directly observing the patients and directly connecting the patients through calls or chat. From there the result came that there are few reasons that patient don’t do physiotherapy in the absence of the physiotherapist and why these reasons are there and we also came to know about the challenges faced by the physiotherapist, patients, care coach and care givers. The conclusion of the study is that by this comparison between traditional physiotherapy and virtual physiotherapy we came to know that VP is easier to monitor and easy to follow rather than traditional physiotherapy.
