Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the inherent powers of the high court and when it can be used. Findings: The findings of this research analyses the inherent powers of the high court and the cases that are fundamental to decide the real life use of these powers. Implication: The real-life implication of this study is that it can be used to understand how the inherent powers of the high court function under various circumstances. Originality/Value: This paper precisely focuses on the inherent powers of the high court of India and the cases that are fundamental to the use of these powers. Methodology: This paper follows a doctrinal and analytical research approach. This research mostly relies on secondary data. All sources were collected from internet and research databases. The sources include various books, articles, essays, publications, journals and more.
