Abstract
This is a real story in health management through knee replacement-my own experience.. People have diverse views on Knee surgery. It appears they fear about surgery pain and side effects I looked at with open mind. A friend shared he added 20 years to his life ater replacement of both the knees.Over the two years, I development faith in the surgeon. With painless surgery, I was wondeing when did the surgery start that it was over as was informed .My three doctors including the physiotherapist were not ordinary type.Two of them were my own selection...Apart from the surgery, I was complicated through stoppage of stool and urine, treated by the physion doctor overnight.These two doctors conversed between themselves the developments in my case. This helped me.Many issues the physian had to tackle to my satisfaction. Physiotherapist doctor was highly professional, committed to her professin and the theory "No gain without pain". I consider all the three as demigod. The experience made me close to normalcy in 40 days.I learnt several lessons which the paper covers. Concluding part briefly stated herein.is that particularly the senior citizens with weak and pain giving knees with gain. They can overcome their fear of the surgery and the pain. Another area this is a case study useful in class discussions of medical and management.studies.
