Abstract
Abstract. An oxalate coprecipitation method is used to prepare fine barium stannate (BaSnO3). The white oxalate precipitates were prepared by coprecipitation of Ba2+ and Sn4+ then the oxalic acid is used precipitate component. most interesting result of this method is the oxalate precipitates are easily converted to the barium stannate by the calcinations and sintering process in low temperature at 1075 0C.The resulting powder is characterized by several methods such as X-ray diffraction pattern which shows cubic structure and lattice parameter to be 4.960Å. The temperature dependent dielectric constant is continuously increasing with temperature and frequency dependent dielectric constants are performing low frequency dielectric dispersion for this sample. Impedance, modulus and electrical conductivity to be characterized. The SEM analysis which have indicates particle size is 2 µm. All this characterization are indicates that powders BaSnO3 obtained by this method contain no impurities. So it is best for preparation of the fine BaSnO3.
