Individual rights, the Forest Rights Act, the Gram Sabha, a lack of information and other traditional forest residents.

The article discusses the implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act (FRA) in Gopalpur Panchayat of Th. Rampur, Kalahandi, Odisha, which has seen low coverage due to a lack of information and remote location. The process has been found to have numerous irregularities, with both officials and forest dwellers being responsible. The article suggests using technology and local NGOs/self-help groups to improve information dissemination, enhance capacity building, and curb irregularities. Additionally, the implementation of the Act needs to be closely monitored by an external agency.
