This research also aims in providing a detailed study of various aspects of provisions available in India and other parts of the world. This research is a comprehensive study about the condition of women even in the 21st century. The researcher also tells about the various loopholes in the Indian law and order related to marital rape. This research also aims in promoting awareness in the society bout the topic. There are many suggestions also given as a remedy to the problem. Marital rape is something which is so prominent yet so invisible to people. It is not only the infringement of a woman’s right but also the promotion of a ‘LEGAL CRIME’. This idea is highlighted in the research paper. It also throws light on the comparision between different provisions around the world.
