Abstract
The research approach selected for the study is quasi experimental research design [Pre-test & Post-test with experimental and control groups], 60 clients were selected through Non probability- Purposive Sampling Technique. In that 30 was experimental and remaining 30 was control group. The tool developed and used for data collection was structured Interview, In-Vitro Bio-Physiological method. First data was collected from experimental group and control group. Pre-test and Post-test fasting blood glucose level was measured in experimental and control groups before intervention. Then 14.3gms of Sprouted Fenugreek seeds were administrated in early morning before breakfast for clients in experimental group for 28 days. After we do the post test with both experimental and control groups the data were analysed based on the mentioned objectives using descriptive and inferential statistics. In experimental group pre-test 10(33%) had Mild, 12(40%) had Moderate and 8(27%) had Severe levels of fasting blood glucose. Whereas, in post-test score 8(27%) had Normal 15(50%) had Mild and 7(23%) had Moderate levels of fasting blood glucose. The findings of the study showed that there was a significant (P<0.001) reduction in fasting blood glucose level after administering sprouted fenugreek seeds in experimental group.
