Abstract
Industry 4.0 increases operational efficiency, information transparency and decentralized decisions. This research paper is trying to discuss the challenges faced by India in the adoption of Industry 4.0. It further studied adoption and status of Industry 4.0 technologies in India. The aspects of environmental sustainability in the context of Industry 4.0 are also studied.
