Abstract

Dogs are social animal which was domesticated by humans more than centuries. humans have succeeded in domesticating only approximately 20 different animal species. Archaeo- logical evidence suggests that dogs were the first species to be domesticated. compared to other domesticated animals dogs were very social with humans. they were used for many purposes from hunting to babysitting. Dogs were the close relatives of wolves and research states that dogs evolved from wolves and formed as a different species as dogs. they build a strong relationship with humans and they adapted parallel to humans and changed their behaviour and their food habits and helped humans in all aspects with their maximum talents and potential. it has been suggested that dogs may have acquired the superior cognitive ability to communicate with humans, particularly using human-like visual cues during evolution, and that emotional bonding has developed between humans and dogs by means of similar social cues.
