Abstract
Abstract: Durjoy Datta is a popular name when it comes to the writing in the field of romance and thriller. He is a role model of young generations in India. Durjoy Datta has written near about 20 novels which are based on modern culture. He has highlighted many things from young generation like college life, love affairs, careers, sexual attraction, marriage and all modern culture become lifestyle of youth. His novels depict how the Indian young generation is attracted to the discotheque culture, jingoism and sexism. Durjoy Datta has written dozen of novels which are based on modern culture. The present research will be significant to understand how western culture has affected the youth of India bringing about negative impact on the youth disturbing the families, social values, marriage values, food and clothing, language and other structure. So, it becomes important to throw light on such issues which reflect in the literary work of Durjoy Datta.
