Abstract
Attendance management is a very important system that is present in almost any educational institution. The traditional method of Attendance management is where the teacher manually checks on every student and marks his presence. This process is very inefficient and time consuming as well. Secondly to manage all the attendance records on physical papers is not an easy task. That is why the main goal of our project is to automate this attendance system as a whole making it easy for the teacher as well as the students. The proposed system will manage all the attendance on behalf of the faculty and even help students to see their overall attendance. Additionally, including face recognition and biometric identification, the system has made sure that false attendance will not be marked. This system is capable of improving the attendance system to a large extent, making it more efficient as well as reducing the flaws in the current system.
