Abstract
Developments in information literacy provides an overview of the concepts used and discussed by community college and engineering college students use libraries and seek information. A key issue that is discussed among students, teachers and researchers in general is the implosion of the Internet and how libraries have shifted focus from using library resource to online databases and article retrieval systems. Engineering college students and teachers have had to make adjustments to keep up with such trends.
