In postmenopausal women’s many changes are found like weight gain , weakness, mood swings and some psychological symptoms like anxiety , depression etc. The reduced estrogen level which leads to cessation of menstruation , Which affect on physical and psychological health of women and these health issues affect quality of women life . Women need to come forword and deals with the health issues for good quality of life . Methodology A quantitative research approach used , data collection done by survey method . Data Collected from 50 postmenopausal women from selected area of navi mumbai , using interviewing with MENQUOL Likert scale to assess the symptoms present in postmenopausal women . sampling technique was non probability convenient sampling technique used . Result –Statistical analysis shows that, maximum ( 58%) women from age 46 - 50 year and maximum ( 84%) women from nuclear family . according to scoring criteria , it is found that 88 % women having moderate physical and psychological symptom , whereas only 4 % women having severe symptoms . also , it is found that there is significant association between history of co-morbidity and post menopausal syndrome .
