Abstract
A hernia is an abnormal protrusion of a part or whole of viscus through an abnormal opening in the wall of the cavity which contains it. Inguinal hernia is the protrusion of part of the contents of the abdomen through the inguinal region of the abdominal wall. Inguinal hernia is the most common hernia that is 73% than other hernia. Because the inguinal region is a weak part of the abdominal wall by the presence of inguinal canal, the deep inguinal ring, and the superficial inguinal ring. If inguinal hernia left untreated becomes strangulated which impairs blood supply of its contents and ultimately leads to gangrene. Which may be life threatening. Here we report case of right reducible indirect inguinal hernia in a 67years old man who admitted and underwent the hernioplasty. He was successfully managed with regular wound care and patient had complete relief from his complaints.
