Abstract
Reinforced concrete structure are subjected to the different loadings over the life of that structure. The concrete though a durable materials all over the materials for the construction it has the problem of deterioration if the maintenance is not carried out periodically. The life of the concrete depends upon various factors such as the quality of concrete, construction site conditions, design considerations, quality of the workmanship. Therefore apart from the condition of the concrete structure life span of that structure also play an important role. Therefore the assessment is to be considered for the life of the structure through different techniques such destructive and non destructive methods. In the present work the condition index is calculated through non destructive testing for the elevated storage reservoirs in the Amravati district at different locations. It was found that the condition index is more in the elevated storage reservoir of Varha village.
