Abstract

Abstract: Consciously dietary fibre lignin, being an important secondary metabolite produced by metabolic pathway in plant cell fitting to resource allocation and its administering in Allium hookeri, a perennial green leafy herbal spice was investigated. In green herbal the potential of resource allocation accounted with relation to relative growth rate (RGR) and leaf plastochron index (LPI) concerning with phytology, growth and development of agriculturally important and current model on advance production practices for selective cropping scheme of kharif season for two cropping years. In structural development the lignin formation begins when RGR decreases with corresponding to maturation of growth and coincidence to growth in height and size approaching to zero RGR. Correlation of the LPI to lignin indicating the beginning of lignification where LPI value acquired equal or greater than 0.80 for 0.231 mg.g-1 lignin; greater or equal to 1.61 for 0.248 mg.g.-1 lignin; equal or greater 2.61 for 0.253 mg.g.-1 lignin in 2017 and LPI greater or equal to 0.73 for 0.233 mg.g.-1 lignin; equal or greater in 1.64 for 0.249 mg.g.-1 lignin; equal or greater 2.64 for 0.258 mg.g.-1 lignin. Convergent to biochemical functionaries and processes the resource allocation of lignin coincidence with LPI value greater or equal to 0.73 of plant growth and development in Allium hookeri. Exclusively the established equation from RGR and lignin implies the absence of lignification correspond to RGR 0.260 day-3 i.e. 0.086 day-1 and 0.242 day-3 i.e. 0.080 day-1 in 2017 and 2018 cropping years respectively. Fundamentally authenticate each additional mg.g-1 of lignin in leaves RGR decreases by 1.0078 and 0.920 in the 2017 and 2018 respectively. Investigation inferences the lignification is inversely proportional to relative growth rate of the test crop Allium hookeri.
