Various parties were involved in the barter trade. The role of women in the production of goods on these lands was also significant. Women were mostly involved in the sale of goods such as paddy, fish, salt, milk and yoghurt. Women's involvement in barter and their business productivity can be found in detail in the science of the role of women in barter.
In the barter trade the men sold goods not only locally but also to outsiders and bought what they needed. Although women were not involved in foreign trade, they were involved in the barter trade in order to sell small items locally.
