Abstract
According to Down to Earth magazine reverse migration might not mirror on any official website any specific knowledge, however nonchalantly lurking around in most post covid- nineteen pandemic conversations. Though the whole country has passed through this however we tend to lightness hill region & rural piece of ground of Pauri Garhwal district. In step with newspaper cuttings and a few reports Pauri Garhwal wherever most of the villages will be seen as empty ghost villages have gotten someone once more. Uttarakhand is the second state once Uttar Pradesh witnessed a giant scale of fast migration, however, covid-19 modified this knowledge currently. Those who came back to their natives throughout the first and second wave of the pandemic don’t need to travel to their workplaces and are determined to adopt Self Employment associated with agriculture and allied agriculture activities like- poultry farms, tiny food shops, etc. However, most individuals concede to come back as a result hill regions are packed with survival challenges. During this paper, we tend to attend analysis regarding post covid economic scenario of returnees in typical rural areas, and initiatives were taken by the government throughout the pandemic.
