Abstract: The Study of Socioeconomic status and its related problems is very much important in the present-day situation. Socio-economic status is essential to know about the economic and social development in a region. Mahaliapara village is a Tribal Village, where 100% of villagers are from the Bodo-Kachari tribe. The village is located in the Bhergaon Development Block under Bhergaon Subdivision. Udalguri District is an important district in Bodoland Territorial Region. But the District is situated so far from the Headquarter of Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar.
