Abstract
The forensic analysis of hair evidence can be highly valuable in the examination of physical evidences. Hairs can be transferred during physical contact, presence of hair can be associated with a suspect to a victim or a suspect/victim to a crime scene ( Ex. Pubic hair in sexual assault case) The types of hair recovered and the condition and number of hairs found all impact on their importance as evidence in a criminal investigation.
