Infancy is the time of adaptation from intrauterine life to the rather dry and cold, environment. The production and use of manufactured products for infant skin have increased steadily over the last few decades and health professionals have expressed concerns about the potential dangers of overuse with manufactured skin care products. This study aims to determine the baby powder list of analysis and evaluation with respect to their physical, chemical and microbial tests in order to compare the 5 marketed baby powders along with the formulation done on a lab scale. That was conducted to assess the qualitative and quantitative test analysis of any 5 marketed baby powders and one laboratory-based baby powder to explore any chemical and physical differences in infant skin care products. And thus, for the present research work, various test procedures and experiments as per the Bureau of Indian Standards is carried out.
